WEEK10 FINISHED THE FLOORING

Today we finished the Unitec house flooring, I was very happy!

WEEK 9 FLOORING

We used perforated aluminum foil laid on the Unitec house before finished the nogs that supported the wall framing.

the foil and the tool for having a sag of 100mm

               we choose sheet flooring to lay on the Unitec house. The size of sheet is 120mmx360mm.used Particleboard for dry area and used Plyboard for wet area. We laid on the sheets from the centre of the floor outwards for areas first for prevented not to be distortion or be broken, and fixed sheet material with 60x2.8mm H.D galv. Nails at 150mm cross around sheet and 300mm cross to intermediate supports.    

                                          

WEEEK8 Trim out for the subfloor bathroom waste outlets openings

How to trim out ? firstly we got measurement and marked on the bourdary board

and cut the joist that under the waste outlets openings(marked on the boundary board).used the nog to connect both of other joists

strengthen the joists(double joist)

and use joists hunger to reinforce the joists.

WEEEK8 Fixings

we cut 45degree angle use 90x4.8 nails to prolong boundary boards.

we used nais and nogs to connect joists together

we used connector to strengthen the structure of floor between boundary board and joist.

WEEEK7 Subfloor Joists

we use the string line to check if the bearers are straight first and then adjust.Measureing the joists and cut to size.Connecting the joisting on the bearers with nails.

adjust the bearers and make sure the every joists length are same

notice the different color of the joists

the pink joists are  used under normal floor,it is H1.2. the brown joists are used under bathroom  and kitchen place, it is H3.2.

WEEK 6 Subfloor

  the subfloor that we build is the temporary subfloor, it include makeing bearers, joists, nogs ,bracing ,under-floor insulation and flooring.

WEEK 5 Start buliding the house

this week we start building the Unitec house.so we have to clearn and  move the weeds and vegetion first and reach soild ground for marking out the location of the house.we repaired the footing with concret for sole plates and marking out the profiles.
